Banner 7.2 will move into production and should be available for general use on Monday, May 8th at 7:00 am. Many users have attended training. To review some of the changes, go to www.lehigh.edu/lewis/Ban7/

SYSTEM UPDATE BANNER
LTS is rolling out a new communications tool to alert Lehigh faculty, staff, and students of changes in availability of LTS systems -- this includes planned and unplanned downtime of major services, network outages affecting campus, etc. In the event a campus online service becomes temporarily unavailable, all LTS Web pages will display a system banner to that effect. To find more information, click on the banner. Of course you can always call the help desk to find out about downtime
(8-4357).

RECENTLY ACQUIRED LEHIGH PHOTOS ON EXHIBIT
A new exhibition in Special Collections features selected images from Howard David Ginder's student album of 206 photographs taken during his student years at Lehigh, 1915-1919. These unusual photographs reflect the impact of World War I, and illustrate student life, athletics, and academic events in the Lehigh campus and South Bethlehem. The exhibition will run through August 30, 2006 in Special Collections, Fairchild Martindale Library 3rd Floor Room 625.

The accompanying online exhibition 'Photo Story of Lehigh: 1915-1919'
can be viewed at http://dig.lib.lehigh.edu/projects/exhibits.asp

PREP YOUR EMAIL FOR SUMMER
Lehigh email users have several options for summertime handling of email.

a) You can set up a vacation message but let mail accumulate in your inbox. This is safe if you are checking messages or if you have very low email volume. Instructions are at:
http://www.lehigh.edu/helpdesk/docs/email-guide/email-guide.shtml#vm

b) You can forward your mail to another account. Instructions are at:
http://www.lehigh.edu/helpdesk/docs/email-guide/email-guide.shtml#mf

Remember that passwords must be changed every six months. Some users may receive a reminder to change the email password over the summer. Reminders are sent via email in advance.

Call the Help Desk at 610-758-4357 with any questions.
